…is my pattern in Son of Stitch ‘N Bitch! Which was bestowed upon my mailbox this week!
If you’ve noticed that 100% of my two published patterns are hoodies, then give yourself a pat on the back. If it ain’t got a hood, it ain’t no good. I intend to say that to my grandkids a lot, right before I tell them about how I used to get gas at a full-service station for a buck-fifteen a gallon when I was growing up in Jersey. SoSnB, incidentally, is awesome. One of the best in the series. A lot of crocheters are player-hatin’ on Amazon because all but four of the patterns are knitted, but in all fairness, it is extremely hard to design a crocheted men’s sweater that doesn’t look like an afghan with armholes.
Around here, we’re already contemplating which stuff to cast on from the book. My sister picked up the yarn for the “Beer Gloves” today, in eggplant alpaca, because we think that our brother can rock some serious eggplant alpaca. We also think that he doesn’t read this blog, so we can talk openly about knitting for him. For all of the stalkers out there: I’m going to go get my special-special copy of SoSnB signed by Debbie Stoller at her Dec. 10 appearance at Moe’s in Berkeley. If you see me there, say hi. I’m not as much of an asshole as my SnB bio makes me sound, I swear.
