I’m writing from my office now. We’re having some major storms here, and power has been out in the house for over 24 hours. There wasn’t much to do yesterday besides bundle up and knit in the dark. Everything past the light purple bit was done in the dark yesterday, so please keep in mind that I couldn’t see how the sock was turning out until I woke up this morning.

And it appears that the remaining colors on the sock will be: orange, yellow, and gold, keeping that earth-tone look intact. I would just love to be a fly on the wall during Noro’s color-decision meetings. This colorway really looked like a blend of purple orange, and red before I knitted it up. Now it looks like Voltron made of two different socks, and one of those socks is a clown sock. Well, enjoy your electricity, friends.
