I’ve had plenty of things to knit, but not too much that I care to post about. Motoring along on the herringbone thing, a few socks, and some other stuff, but since my photography skills leave much to be desired I won’t trouble you with a grainy shot of yet another inch of plain ol’ boring stockinette.

The good news is that an awesome friend from the East brought me her copy of IK Summer 2005, complete with like five million shrugs aaaaaaaand the lace leaf sweater. So now I can start on it! Just in time for the weather here to be inexplicably 80 degrees every day. Meh.

In other news, I’m getting ready to tweak with some of the layout features of this blog. Problem #1: the main column width is a bit too thin for photo-heavy posts. Problem #2: What the hell is up with the padding around post-embedded images? I swear the last two themes I’ve tried left no freakin’ margin. I’m just not arty enough to appreciate text running right into the edge of Figure 30, my extremely spherical lucky cat.
