Oh, Glee.

For all intents and purposes, Glee  is finished. It’s cute. It doesn’t actually make me look like an extremely uncomfortable person going to an 80?s theme party.

Figure 3: FInished Glee. It happened.

This little adventure has proved to me that I really need to get better at self-photography (or at least, setting up a good photo for someone else to snap). Also, taking the photo right after trying and retrying the sweater for the fasteners might not have been such a hot idea. I look like I’ve forgotten how to operate a hairbrush.
Some info:
Pattern: Glee
Yarn: 7 skeins of Misti Alpaca Suri Silk in Ruby
Needles: Size 5 circulars, extremely annoying 4-needle set of sz 5 dpns.
Time: About 3 weeks. Would have been less, except for some resize/gauge/alteration/blocking frustrations.
Alterations: Widened the sleeve to accommodate my sexy bulging biceps. Added waist shaping, though in hindsight this was not really necessary. Waist shaping has become a reflex! I can’t help it! Also, the sleeve length. For any parties interested in adding sleeves, each 3/4 fitted sleeve required approximately 100 yds of extra yarn.
