Most of the time I really enjoy my career as the eternal grad student, but some weeks (especially right at the end of the quarter) it’s like a kick in the teeth every day. All of my medium-complicated mathy fitted-y knitting (not to mention that jerk stripey thing) have become yarny leeches to me. Well, forget ‘em! Until school sorts itself out a little, I will not knit a single increase nor a decrease. Not nary a one! Mindless repetition, you are for me! If you don’t hear from me for another week, that’s because I’m swimming in a sea of soft bamboo stockinette.
