‘Just yesterday I was complaining about the nasty infinity of knitting men’s sized black socks. Today I’m ready for the green row of invaders! High five!
t’s BMP, an awesome pattern by Aija Goto. It has been pretty simple to knit them toe-up. I highly recommend converting to this direction if you want to make these socks but you’re yarn-shy. It also gets all of the plain ol’ boring parts out of the way early.
I’m making one more adjustment– the sock’s gorgeous cuff is going to be narrowed slightly to accommodate the svelte ankles of my gentleman companion. We’ll save the 91-stitch width for when I’m trying to gird my own mighty oaken calves. Make no mistake, there will be a pair for me in the future.
