Though I’m really competent at crochet, you’re unlikely to see a crocheted item on this blog anytime soon because I can’t seem to stop trying to replicate the fine lacework from my modest 1920?s crochet pattern collection. (I took a brief hiatus from the tiny microhooks to make seventies socks.)

Though a lot of the online vintage pattern repositories have been drying up lately, I found a completely excellent page of 20?s patterns on A Good Yarn. Yeah, they’re probably in a ridiculous gauge with hilarious ease, but… aughh, cute! Makes me want to cut my hair and get a marcel wave.
